Privacy Policy

Learn which data LinkDTV uses, why it is used and how to exercise your rights.

This policy covers the LinkDTV app and linkdtv.com. See how to delete your account and associated data.

1. Responsible person and contact

Responsible for LinkDTV: Venâncio Rodrigues da Rocha.
Support: [email protected]
Privacy: [email protected]

You can also use the privacy and support form. Do not send passwords or identity documents.

2. Data and purposes

Account data includes your name, email, authentication details, avatar and date of birth if provided. These support account management, authentication and profile display. Names and avatars may accompany publications. Passwords are not published and are processed by Firebase Authentication.

City, country and approximate or precise location, when authorized, help select local content and nearby cities. You can revoke location permission in device settings.

Posts, comments, images, videos, audio, links and technical contributions support the catalogue and community. Published content may be accessible to other users and, when featured, on the public website.

Preferences, city and channel connections, interactions and search use organize content, notifications and applicable usage limits. Device identifiers, notification tokens and technical records support notifications, operation, security and abuse prevention.

Advertising and subscription data support ads and Premium benefits. Advertising SDKs may process advertising identifiers, IP addresses, interactions and diagnostics depending on settings and applicable consent. The store processes payment; LinkDTV uses subscription status to enable benefits.

Reports, moderation decisions, support email and messages are used to handle requests, moderate content and prevent abuse. Administrative access is restricted.

3. Service providers and sharing

We use Google/Firebase for authentication, databases, files, server functions and notifications, Google Mobile Ads for advertising and Google Play for purchases. Providers may process data in other countries under their terms and service settings. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Voluntary publications may be viewed by third parties. Data may also be provided to comply with legal obligations, respond to valid authority requests or protect rights and service security. News links and external pages have their own policies.

4. Permissions and advertising

Location, notifications and media selection depend on the features used and system permissions. Revoking permission may limit the related feature. Premium accounts do not display ads. Where available, consent and advertising preferences can be managed through the app, system and provider controls.

5. Website data

Public information pages do not require sign-in. Your country choice for Highlights is stored locally in your browser. Highlights contacts Country.is when you choose “Estimate country by IP”. The country rules page contacts this service automatically to estimate your country and open its rules. These requests share your IP with Country.is, without requesting GPS or precise location. If detection fails, a country selector is available. You can select a country manually and clear the saved choice using browser controls.

Forms use your email and message to handle requests. During authenticated deletion, the password is sent directly to Firebase Authentication and is not stored in the request. Abuse controls use a key derived from IP and a time window. The technical record has a 24-hour expiry field; this alone does not automatically delete it from the database.

6. Security

Communications use HTTPS. Administrative access requires authentication and server authorization. These measures reduce risks, but no service guarantees absolute security. Protect your password and do not publish other people’s personal information.

7. Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Requests are handled by the administration; submitting one does not mean deletion is complete.

The request covers authentication, profile, identifiers, preferences, personal connections and associated personal content or files. Technical catalogue information may remain only without identifying the account holder. Exceptional retention for legal obligations, security or fraud prevention must be justified, access-restricted and communicated to the holder with the applicable period. Account deletion and associated personal data removal are completed within 30 days of the request, with identity verification. Support and security records are kept for up to 90 days from creation. Any exceptional retention required by law will be communicated with its reason and applicable period.

8. Your rights

Request access, correction, information on processing or deletion at [email protected]. We may request proportionate identity verification before disclosing or changing personal data. If you cannot sign in, use this channel to start alternative verification.

9. Children and teenagers

Do not publish minors’ personal data or content that puts them at risk. Report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation through the safety channels. Account holders must observe the conditions and rating shown on the Google Play listing.

10. Updates

Updated October 17, 2026. Relevant changes must also be reflected in the app’s disclosures and the store’s Data safety section.
